Here is our summary for Autumn 2:

It's GREAT to be in Year 4! Mr Evans is the class teacher and Mrs Hughes, Mr Bentley, Miss Bishton and Miss Ellison will also be supporting the children in Year 4. This year, we are enthusiastic to build on our learning from Year 3, in preparation for our transition to Year 5. During the first Autumn term, the inspiration for our learning is by Roald Dahl and his story of Fantastic Mr Fox. We are to write narratives, instructions, diary entries, character descriptions and biographies, as well as a write of the children's choosing. In mathematics, the children will be enhancing their skills in place value, ready for it's application in both addition and subtraction. In STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), we will be learning all about animals, how they are classified and why? We will be undertaking investigations, using the chrome books along with lots of other exciting technologies, to help us with our science. Our P.E. days are Tuesdays and Thursdays and homework will be given out every Friday. We are excited for the GREAT year ahead!
